3rd August, Eky's birthday.

Woke up to a brilliant sunrise, had a quick swim then sailed around 40nm to Ko Bulon Le East. (06'51.059N, 99'35.683E) arriving around midday. After a lunch of hotdogs, took the dinghy across to the island where we were greeted by some Thai fishermen on the beach. We walked through a few hundred meters of jungle and came to a school with around 20 children being taught outside under the trees. We found a resort that seemed uninhabited this time of year with many little beachside huts all locked up, including a local "police station".

Returned to Blue Lagoon for a swim, cleaned some barnacles under the waterline and then a relaxing afternoon until a storm hit around 8pm with upwards of 20 knot winds and rain. Our anchorage wasn't the most sheltered but still had a decent night sleep. Happy to report no sea-sickness as yet.
