At daybreak we lifted anchor and sailed further North to Ko Rok (06'46.604N, 99'06.701E). We covered the 41 NM at around 7 knots with some more favourable winds and one engine running. 2m swell but pleasant conditions. We arrived around 14:30, anchoring on the reef just south of the island. Spend about an hour snorkeling the reef that was absolutely teeming with fish. A beautiful spot and well sheltered. Good night sleep aside from being woken twice by Thai fishermen on the back of our boat trying to untangle their nets that had drifted underneath and tangled in our props. When we went to leave in the morning we found that the anchor had snagged on an underwater steel cable at about 10m down so out came the SCUBA gear.
